Kecimol

Have you heard about Kecimol?? Kecimol one of traditional-modern sasak music. This music used to accompany the marriage couple from the groom’s house to the bride’s house. Some unique traditional drumband play a modern music most of the song is in sasak language.

I got this photos yesterday after bought some food at Kebon Roek Traditional Market.

This traditional music band called Rudat. They play some traditional music instrument such as drum, flute, etc.

This kecimol will walk along the road from groom’s house to the bride’s house. Play a music with a group of marching band and some of people dancing in front of kecimol. Most of the music played is dangdut. But this kecimol really famouse.

The bridesmaids.

The bride’s with traditional Sasak wedding cloths, black kebaya and songket. Bride’s hair was decorated with golden flowers and some jasmine flower and red rose flower at the center.

They looks so happy.

The groom with the traditional Sasak wedding cloth. They usually wearing a black top that’s look like a bolero and Sasak traditional songket.

This child are nonstop dancing. He’s so funny!!!
